  • As always this pub never fails to disappoint. As a vegetarian there are various choices and are delicious. The staff are very friendly and always have time for the customers, they treat strangers with the same warmth as the regulars.

    Super celebration in the Malthouse Thanks Caroline for organizing our birthday bash in the Malthouse, and to Val for keeping us all in order and the wine flowing. Great pre-dinner cocktails and great food.

    Tasty food and lots of it. We went midweek for lunch with friends. Ample parking outside. In a very nice village setting. Public bar area very quaint, bright with lots of atmosphere. Restaurant screened off next to bar area. Good, friendly service. I had steak and ale pie. It was incredible.

    Nice local in a pretty village. Lunch stop at this pretty village pub. Very friendly service and nice sandwiches. Other food looked good so we will hopefully be back for a full meal soon. 6X beer was good too.

    Simply the best vegetarian roast ever!!! The pub is very friendly and welcoming to little children to pensioners and dogs. Being with a 3 year old -the garden and play area were great. The selection of roast meals was excellent - each option with a big, home-made Yorkshire pud!

    Found this pub on the Internet. Wanted a place to eat on our way back from Lacock So glad we did we had a wonderful Sunday lunch. The food was excellent the bar staff could not do enough for us Wish this was nearer to us would visit often
